Many godly people ask what did I do God? Always remember what Scripture says, many are the afflictions of the righteous. There is always glory in suffering. The worst things that we can imagine in our life on earth are not worthy to be compared to our life with Christ in Heaven.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and as a survivor myself, and the mother of two daughters, my prayer is that this awful disease would be eradicated in my lifetime and that my daughters would never have to experience what I went through in battling this deadly disease. Good friends sent me daily scripture to encourage me, and each day in the Word was a balm to my soul. Here are some key verses that ministered to me then and continue to minister to me today!

Somehow we forget that life really is fragile and that radical destabilizing news is only a phone call away. Or, worse yet, that the cancer is accelerated and immediate steps must be taken to try to save your life. Where do you go for peace and comfort in the midst of the turmoil that that kind of news brings to your soul?
